| I dedicated the painting The Talmudist to people versed in the Talmud. My father liked to share his Talmudic knowledge with me and would tell me about the sources of Jewish law. When I started to work on this painting I understood how much I missed my father. I think that if I paid more attention to his interpretations of the Talmudic text then I would be better off today. |
